Intoxicated with Riots
Photographs by Gary Lotus in June 2010 Vogue Italia reminded me to create this bracelet with San Diego,California sea shells. The model’s hair inspire me as they are shell-shaped. The beauty shoot was very resort themed with an overcast vision of blue stripes and black & white suits.
The editorial reminds viewers of a vacation for women in the1920′s, 1960′s or 1980′s. In present day, we still find the same search for an escape of realities by enjoying a beach trip or piecing together luxurious relaxation from our lives.
