Roar for Chanel Couture–2010
No other way would Karl Lagerfeld have it but to completely take over the fashion jungle than at Chanel Couture 2010 collection show on Tuesday, July 6,2010. Lagerfeld hugest feature of production was the 40-foot tall golden lion clawing a giant pearl. The statement of saying “I am majesty” was better done with this as the centerpiece then ever being said aloud. However, the haute couture line was the most unforgettable. Mid-calf length hemlines took classic and redefined the shape of the silhouette, neither too short or too long, both for day and evening dresses. Giving an Indian-Boho appeal, the structure was crafted in the exotic deep colors of royal blue, gold, burgundy, pearl with of course the richest materials. How could we forget the boots? Amazing textiles are perfectly scrunched of each pair. Dangling from wrists were all the chains, pearls, and stones for accessories. Couture never felt so simple ROYAL.
