Topman Design A/W 2010
Menswear Day- Wednesday February 24, 2010
Topman Designs showcased a settle, yet very trendy approach to their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection today, Menswear Day, February 24, 2010. The earth tones worked the runway hitting with navy blues and burgundy accents. Trousers were worn tightly with a belt that ruffled the tops of them, I loved it ! Shirts had colors such as green and red with tree designs growing at the bottom, darker and faded into white at the top. Dirty, dirty
Burberry Prorsum RTW Fall 2010
Tuesday, February 23, 2010
London Fashion Week brought out the ‘Big Guns’ today, with anticipation of the live broadcast show, which has been very popular this year, for the first time in history, would also be in 3-D. The Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2010 collection began with an aviator inspired series of coats in green wool felt and cream furs, that had been left interior or reversed for exterior display with double zipper large collars and chocolate brown leather detailing. The air force inspired pieces transitioned us for the military based frocks with beautiful shape that hung as the construction of the over sized collars were perfect. The navy blue jackets with gold zipper detailing at the waist were amazing ! Guiding us into the more elegance of the collection were big chocolate and black furs coats covering the models. Washed velvets, silk lace, and sheep skin would capture the viewers, but who could forget this collection? Best of London’s Fashion Week ! Job well done to Mr. Christopher Bailey, creative chief officer at Burberry!
Nicole Farhi RTW Fall 2010
Monday, February 22, 2010
The colors and shapes were perfect in this collection, mind you, the evolution through the fashion show was amazing. Striking patent leathers were seen on black jackets and pants. Pleated skirts and coats used to cut and curve naturally, yet bold. The dresses fell below the knee, and drapery was attained with the light metallic black and red dresses, still using a faded pale floral print on several pieces. Moving into the figure forming dresses embellished with defined gold metallic squares, a navy sequins top covered in chiffon, and more embellishment and opulent covering. NV-NLOVE.
Clement Ribeiro RTW Fall 2010
Sunday, February 21,2010
The bohemian inspired collection is a luxurious thrill; the colors in the swirled textiles and fabrics bring the seventies modern vibe. Clement Ribeiro, label for designers Suzanne Clement and Inacio Ribeiro, dazzled up cardigans with embellishments of jewls, placed colorful marbled prints on silk blouses and dresses, my favorite look was the pale silk embroidered pants paired with a blouse and cardigan, very chic & dirty !
Holly Fulton RTW Fall 2010
Saturday, February 20,2010
The Art Deco influence that Holly Fulton, British fashion designer uses in her Ready-to-Wear collection, is inspired by cubism, and the colours used are to attract our eyes, leaving a memory of brights & geometric shapes. This has been her signature style since she began, to modernize the 1920′s Art Deco vibe, truly classic & amazing.
